the stearing (non power) on my syncro sceams to be getting heaverer, i am getting worried about the VC or could it be the stearing rack (do they wear out) as it scceames heavy all the time.
When i say heavy i mean that there is what feels like resistance when driving nothing mojor but there is a distinct difference between our t25 camper.
There is the normal resistance on full lock or when doing a 3 point turn wear the front wheels fell like they are pulling the front around with a slight ripping, i dont want to make it sound harsh as it is no more than a old jeep cherokee that i had about 5years ago.
any advice would be apreciated
thanks neil

Re: heavy stearing
Does it feel like its trying to slow on tight turns?? (tight vc makes it "scrub" and will load up the steering on tight tarmac turns....)
I presume youve checked and adjusted tyre pressures?
Racks generally dont wear so they are stiffer.... has any of the suspension components failed? ball joints/bushes etc etc... as changes in the geometry will not help...

Re: heavy stearing
false alarm i think jed drove my van today for about 8 miles a reconed everthing was ok . the tyres have 3.0 bar at the front and 2.5 at the rear. none of the suspenshon compnents have been changed. apart from all of the cv boots and a set of wheels (new mefros). i made the mistake of driving the camper (2wd). where everything is nice and light up front. thanks for the help neil
