Hi
I have a 1984 T 25 high top(water cooled) I have noticed when going down hill or at slow speeds im concious of quite loud audible squeakng on the front wheels. It has just been through an MOT so i wouldnt imagine its a wheel bearing...can anyone throw any light on this problem as to what it could possible be....Thanks

Brake pads.
apply brake grease to the rear of the pad.
or remove the pads and check that they have not worn down to the metal

Top wishbone rubbers have collapsed perhaps? (very common) look at the end of the top wishbone from the front...you will see the head of the bolt coming through the bush...IF the bush has collapsed the head will look 'OFFSET' oneway, from the centre of the bush...not in the middle!
Bushes cost about £12.00 each, two bushes per side, they aren't too bad to change but require a small spot weld to keep them from moving. After they are done, both camber and track will need checking and adjusting.
