Anybody else got a VR6

Post by slobbo »

Has anybody else got a VR6 in their van? Interested in what sort of MPG your getting with what setup. I am getting around 20mpg on the motorway and around 16mpg around town. Hurts but the burble from the exhaust and the oodles of power almost make up for the rear pocket pain. I am thinking of LPGing the beast but am wondering where to put a tank. Mine is a Syncro and has mud terrain tires on it. I reckon I will gain a couple of mpg just by changing the tires to All terrains. I am not sure what ratios are in the box. It was rebuilt to take the extra grunt but I didn't do it and don't have any data on it.

Anybody else have one and wants to share info?
Cheers
Rob.

You only live once, but if you work it right, once is enough.
