i have filled up many swear jars on some hose clips on my diesel peugeot. they have no worm screws to undo them like jubilees, and i took to hitting it with a hammer and a chisel, took ages before i got it off with pliers and persistence! WHY OH WHY did they have to use them?
The clips Peugeot use on their diesel fuel lines are fantastic, there's just a knack to undoing and re-using them... Pete52 told me about them in scrapyard and we harvested as many as we could. Ditto Peugeot using proper Bosch Injection pumps, bulbs in the line for manually pulling up fuel & bleeding. etc etc. which soon found their way into our scrapyard haul
So not all bad news... maybe a photo of what you having trouble with and then someone might point out 'the trick'
i was at spares today, the guy said those clips are use once only, usually have to grind them off, i guess to stop xpresses from fixing it himself lol.
they didn't have the right hose, will take a couple of days to get in. it's a breather hose short piece of pipe, from the back of the oil shoot to another pipe that drops down deeper into the block. anyone know a suitable alternative pipe i can use and cut down? looks like washing machine style pipe to me.
