Thanks Rob ,Simon Crawford is on holiday until next tuesday..DOH..And Simon the bolt holds the governor lever arm and has a matching one on the other side, so theoretically it should stay in place. the question is how do I fix the leak?? My Father in law found some photo's of a guy who striped down one of these pumps and took photos along the way so I'm fairly confident it wont fall apart if I can get the Bolt out. :

Ok after some more research..Simon Baxter was right. The pump will have to come off to be dismantled and seals replaced only then can the triangular headed bolt be removed and washers replaced. I would have knacked the pump if I had tried to take the bolts out insitu.

Anyone know any one good at overhauling diesel fuel pumps and what its likely to cost me?
