Anyone fitted a set of MWS gas burners in 5x112 to a Syncro?
I have a set on my bay but will be changing them for Fuchs soon.

Gas burners are cool, but are they only 5" rim width? limits tyres choice...

Weren't you worried about bottoming out while off-roading?
Nice bus though. Still like the idea of a 71' microbus myself. Money, time, space, wife doesn't agree though!!

They are 5.5 x15" so should get a 195x15 on ok.
The is not very good off road, the saucepans slide off the hob, so I bought another Syncro too
I need to get my finger out & start work on it really. It's gonna be a bit of a Dollar Gobbler!

What about T5 16" steelies? Looked at the wiki and looks like spacers are necessary (longer wheel bolts?).
As an alternative I like the looks of the alloys on the orange doka in this vid

Anyone know what wheel tyre combination this is?
Decided the 14" steels definitely look just that little bit too weedy!!!

Will the ET6 on the Gas Burners be a problem for the syncro with a 195x15 tyre?
