Carpeting my T25
Hey,
I am having a few problems with carpeting my transporter.. I have ply lined it out in the back. But everytime we get a hot day the spray-adhesive I used goes soft and the carpet comes off. I have tried a couple of different adhesives.
Can anybody recommend me something that would work? Really want to get out in the van whilst the weathers nice!
Many Thanks,
Matt.

Good quality high temp spray adhesive 80 degrees plus but remember BOTH the material and substrate should be sprayed with the web in opposing directions. The adhesive must be left to go tacky before the two surfaces are applied to each other. If you spray the glue and apply immediately the bond will not work ! Generally this time is between 2-4 minutes depending on ambient temperature and airflow.

did the ceiling in my bay with wickes building PVA. obviously this was done on the flat before fixing the panel but i got sick of pinning up the sagging carpet when using spray adhesive.
