What do you think ? I start the engine and oil light goes out imediately, then after about thirty seconds it comes on again with the buzzer of doom.
No reason to suspect low oil pressure as she runs very well, quiet and smooth. Is it just the pressure switch do you think ? I notice these are colour coded and the one on there at the mo is grey but has two pressures stamped on it ! ! (1.9 1Y) Why two pressures with only one terminal ? I will fit a pressure guage and check the oil pressure anyway just to be safe, any comments please.

Re: Oil Pressure Switch ?
Hi,
I had the buzzer of doom on mine recently(1.9 DG). Was convinced that pressure was ok so disconnected it and no buzzer sounded so that said to me it was a faulty switch. Changed it for same colour coded one and have had no problems.

Re: Oil Pressure Switch ?
check the wire to it first. the connections get brittle with age.
