i am a new member just got my van ready for the summer i will be going to the bus stopover in june. It would be goog to meet members of the club and have a few beers. I also want to attend vanfest in sept again it would be good to be there with club members. i live in Nottm and drive a 1990 grey panal van with a camping conversion, i have been inti vw's for years any have now taken the plunge.

Bus Stop over is a nice one to start you off, Vanfest is of course the biggie...I have been for the last few years and PERSONALLY think it's a bit of a rip off although I must admit there is lots to see/buy etc
Another of my favourates is Run To The Hills (just up from Cromford so very local)....run by a club (Dubliminal) you can tell the difference straight away as it is run by like minded folk..say no more.

join the club proper.http://www.80-90.co.uk/pages/membershipform.html you will then get access to the members only forums.like the events trips and shows forum.there are about 30 vans from here going to the stopover
