Trumatic gas heating

Any info on fault finding with a trumatic-e 1800 gratefully recieved.

I have a installation and operating manual if that would be any use, it has no troubleshooting section in it though.

Thanks for the offer, I've got the manual...

I've got a new leisure battery which has sorted the low voltage fault, now it just won't ignite....

I think I'll have to take it out and open it up

Does your heater play up when the gas bottle is getting low?

My old T2 Westy had a Trumatic e that would play up with low gas pressure.

Hi i had this problem with mine i rang truma who suggested this, as it is trying to ignite tap the gas pipe at the back of the heater lightly with a spanner as sometimes the valves inside stick closed it took a few goes but it did work . Hope it works for you.
