Have you seen my knob?
I have lost my knobs. I have an RM212F fridge in my campervan and when i bought it both of the knobs had come of the front of the fridge. I still have the knobs but the threads inside has snapped on both. If possible i would love to have the original ones for the fridge. I have a 1989 autohomes
conversion so the model of fridge will be for this model.
Any help would be appreciated.
Much thanks in advance.

Has any of the plastic been lost or is it still there but just cracked? mine had cracked where it fits onto the shaft (
) and had split open so it wasn't a tight fit anymore this is a common problem with them and all of the ones I've seen have cracked in the same area, I put a cable-tie around it so that it kept the centre as it was when new and cut it so it fit and its been fine since, its only mildly fiddly to do.

I have the knobs themselves, however its the shafts that fit on to the metal shafts on the fridge that have shattered? so i have nothing to attatch to. I dont seem to be having much joy with this thread....................I am knobless.

Re: Have you seen my knob?
Several years ago I replaced the missing ones on my Electrolux 212F with new Electrolux knobs, but they were very flimsy and broke again almost immediately.
Went to B&Q, got a couple of wooden cupboard knobs and fettled them to fit. Marked the index points on them with a little groove and a line of black paint.
Not only do they still work 10 years later but they also match the Autosleeper wood effect cupboards.

Take a picture and send it to me I may have what you need. I have a fridge I kept for spares under the house. Can't remember what model it is though.
Cheers
