after a quick use of the search facility on the forum I found this....
and it's just right

Just a respray, no panel replacement and with them stripping van, expect somewhere from £1200-£1500. Then if any panels need repair/replacement work up nearer £2000 and over. Every one has different opinions but most of the time you really get what you pay for (odd exceptions) .Try using a body shop someone else has used and go and have a look at there work. You only really want to have it painted once, so get it done right first time around and be worry free for years. Good luck.

remember... search first!.. resprays are a common subject here :D

I was quoted between £12-£1500 for a complete respray...any problems found whilst they were doing it ie, rust, that needed sorting added extra

Hi

I've just had all my welding done on mt Holdsworth Villa 3, took it along to the the spary shop next door and the guy quoted me £2,000 for a full re-spray - the full monty including windows and rubbers out, filling in , prep work and filling the new seams in. This would be in the same original colour - bright tango orange. More expensive if it was a different colour to the original.

I getting another quote on Saturday, mate of a mate kinda thing- I'll let you know how it goes. I reckon it helps if you've got a mate whos got a mate etc etc otherwise as soon as you mention VW camper I'm sure some people are tempted to bung an extra bit on. Located in Oxfordshire by the way.

I'm in Scotland as well. I know a guy who will do a reasonable job but he's in Blantyre by Hamilton. He's not a proper paint shop and therefore cheaper. He doesn't have an oven though. If your ever down Glasgow way then pm me and I can give you his number. Can't hurt to get a quote.
Cheers
Rob.
