Fridge Vents

Post by pocolow »

One of the last jobs on the interior of my van is to fit the three way fridge. All the electrics are sorted ,but I could do with a little advice on the vents. Clearly I need to cut a hole to fit the gas exhaust vent..but what about the additional Big Grill vents I see in some campers? Some vans don't have any, some just one ,some two. The fridge is an Electrolux 212A..Mark

I didn't fit them in mine.Left a gap under the fridge and then fit a vent in the side of the unit.
I also fitted a thermostaticaly (sp) controlled fan behind the top vent to help with airflow

yes windy has it right there.
vent the warm air into the van.. every little helps.

make sure there's enough free circulation around the back of the fridge
