Plastic thing on the brake light switch

Post by Eddie »

Does anyone know what the plastic thing that has the wires connected to it that fits onto the brake light switch is called? Also, if it needs to be changed can you just take the wires off the old one and attach them to the new one? or would it be (as these things usually are) a lot more complicated?

It's called a pin housing. Yes you can take the wires out but it's easier to throw away the housing and just push the terminals onto the switch.
