Had my van at the vw garage and oil pressures are great on tickover and at 3000rpm. My buzzer/ oil light come on after 2000 rpm so I'm not panicking now that oil pressure is proved ok.
What doe the PCB board control other than the buzzer of doom? Someone on here mentioned to do away with the buzzer and go for an oil pressure guage on the dash. what do I disconnect? the whole pcb or a certain wire (they are all numbered)from the multi connector behind the dash?

Re: printed circuit board question
The buzzer of doom is a small block with three legs attached to the PCB, I would be checking the cause before taking the buzzer off,

Re: printed circuit board question
The PCB in the speedo housing operates the low oil pressure LED and the Buzzer. If you have an oil pressure gauge then you could simply unplug the 6 pin connector at the back of the speedo or remove the pcb altogether if you prefer.
