Build your own Rock and Roll

Post by ropeman23 »

Sorry if this has been asked before, I did a search + looked at the Wiki, but couldn't find what I was looking for.

I have a 1986 Caravelle is it possible to convert my exsisting rear seat into a rock and roll bed? At the moment the back just folds flat on to the seat base. Can I just use a set of R+R hinges, do a few mods and turn it into a bed?

I butchered a 2nd row Velle GL seat and mounted it on a Bluebird 3/4 RnR bed .... with a little work and a lot more thinking. Now modded slightly it's extremely comfy :D

Because the dims on the JK plans on the wiki are quite difficult to read I've plotted out a new plan for the cutting sizes, but I can't find anywhere to host it. So if someone has the capableities to host it somewhere I'll gladly emial them my new version. ;)
