As anybody got any suggestions as to where i can fit my petrol eberspacher ?
ive got a 70l gas tank under my back seat would it be safe to put it there?
where have you put yours
Why not put it behind the rear light and duct it through the bulk head for extra safety and its well out of the way. Thats where my wabasto is on my syncro
good idea Jed
but because its a petrol im limited on the length of fuel line i can use
according to the manual im only allowed 1200mm max length(600mm either side of the pump)
if ive understood it correctly
Mine is petrol too. VW fitted it from new and it still runs bob on after 20 years so i recon its ok. Have a look at bashtie and i will bring my power tools and give you a lift fitting it if you want if your going.
Hi Jed it sounds like a plan to me
but the misses said if it aint fitted before the bashtie she aint goin

My webasto is one of those ones theat heat the coolant in the engine and when its warm kicks a relay on that sets all the heater blowers off inside the van. If you did it with your ebber you would just have to use a longer ducting and feed it through the van and put it anywhere. The pump is the same as an ebber and so is the timer so the position of it should be fine. Is it one of the masive suitcase ebbers like on the early westys or the shoebox size one like you get in bt vans?
