Here is a link to a site with the socket / wire diagram
http://www.tridenttrailers.com/trailer- ... iagram.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

LH indicator 1 = M6 Black / White
Fog lights 2 = L22 L23 White / Yellow
Earth 3 = Brown (Earth)
RH indicator 4 = M8 Black / Green
RH Tail light 5 = M2 Grey / Red
Brake lights 6 = M9 M10 Black / Red
LH Tail lights 7 = M4 Grey / Black

M6, L22, L23, M8, M2, M9, M4 are the components in the Hains manual

Use electrical tester for wires on van to double check coding is correct, we did one last week and wiring colour was dubious because of fading, also soldered joints and taped well

hope that helps

The lead from your socket should have length of sheathed wires ....Yellow (1), Blue (2), White (3), Green (4), Brown (5), Red (6), Black (7)

you connect these to wiring on van ........
LH indicator 1 = M6 Black / White
Fog lights 2 = L22 L23 White / Yellow
Earth 3 = Brown (Earth)
RH indicator 4 = M8 Black / Green
RH Tail light 5 = M2 Grey / Red
Brake lights 6 = M9 M10 Black / Red
LH Tail lights 7 = M4 Grey / Black

Print out the diagram from the link and write on there the colours you need to connect to, like I said previous, double check with tester. I would do it for you but to far away.

Hi niel,, just done mine, are you aware that you have to have a buzzer wired in that activates with the indicators when flashing? This is part of requrement for the new Mot`s which will include tow bar checks. just been reading about this in the caravan club magazine,, theses buzzers are avilable from car shops, specifically to do this job and is best done at the same time has the wiring,,, ,, good luck,, i hate scotch locks lol
