Strange noise from engine Video on youtube

I have no intention of upsetting anyone.
The engine is running sweet as Steve has said, I only put it on here due to my inexperience with the engine.
I have only asked on here for advice first before I look a complete muppet, ringing up Elite and it being something silly, or traveling 100miles back to Steve at Gasure

Its not the engine, but something else connected to it.

I have had the cap off. I fitted a Halfords Rotor arm (yes the correct one) which made it run slightly worse, so have fitted the old one back an and have ordered one from GSF.

I know there are anti Elite people on here, but why do they give a 2 year 24k warranty then?
If Gasure recommend them, it good enough for me.

The bickering amongst members doesn't help.....but what will help is your YouTube link. I would think a phone call to Elite is in order with reference to the YouTube video which will help them with an initial diagnosis with advice as to what to do, if anything, or wether a return journey to their workshop is on the cards.

It may be the hydraulic tappets

Could well be the water pump, I know mine sounded pretty clunky and ball bearing-y when it needed replacing.
Get a nice long screw driver and hold the metal end to the water pump, and listen to the handle end (it acts like a stethoscope) if it is the water pump, the noise will be applified, and you will know for sure if it is coming from there! If it is don't drive it cos it won't like being over heated!!

That is my only suggestion. Because I can't really tell from the recording!

Despite my enthusiasm for this club, the encouragement that lots of people clearly give each other, the willingness to help total strangers just because that is a decent thing to do, to give parts for free to help keep our vans on the road, I fear we may have 'crossed a line' by putting a video of an idling engine on youtube?!
I'm glad the better half is out as I would feel silly if found listening to the youtube clip. Worse, there are dozens of us who have done the same! Perhaps we all need therapy or to have a quick sanity check??
Sounds like it's 'missing' and occasionally running on 3 cylinders to me, btw, although that doesn't tie in with apparently running with normal power....

Its not water pump.

It is missing slightly. (igntion problem)
Putting a video of engine sound online can help diagnostics, to help someone who know s**t about WBX engines

Its going upto Gasure.

Engine is going back to Elite, they are picking up the camper

The noise is a shell bearing (so I'm told from 3 different people)
