STEERING WHEEL HORN PAD REMOVAL

I need to replace my indicator stalk and need to take the horn pad off to gain access to the steering wheel nut. Any tips?

i wrapped a flat head screwdriver in a cloth then take out the middle vw badge bit, nut is just inside, thats aslong as u got the same wheel as me mind :ok
so what if i stink,,, close ur nose
