Help with water pump connection.

Post by sabcully »

Hellu.

Our water pump has stopped pumping and we have been fiddling around with the fuse connection as this was the problem
last time.
Could someone tell us if this is the right order?

That red wire does not sit in the connector very securely, can we replace it or is there anything better to get
the connection to the fuse?

Also, there is a wire that does not seem to go anywhere and we are wondering if it should.

Many Thanks

No

the fuse holder tops ok
On the bottom bit the wire goes through the plastic bit then through the spring then the small metal bit soldered on the end of the wire.

The other wire look like it should be the neutral side.

Might be easier to buy a new fuse holder with wires already fitted and crimp them to the cable.
