Thanks Sam, I've done a search and it seems I need to contact Autovans in Dorset, has anyone used them to repair or replace a roof?

if it turns out to be expensive consider a hightop from timbertechs. more storage than you can shake a stick at even with a bed in the back half

David , i dunno how techy or knacky you are , but can you not fix it yourself ?
Ours leaked when bought 11 yrs and 78 k miles ago, should have noticed the sellers tight - fitting carport roof ! , but i used some flash band around the edges and the ventilator and have almost no problem since .Have recarpeted the inside , warm .
We still try to park on a slope , though .

thanks! Although does anyone know anyone in the North/north west. I understand Autohomes (the conversion company) stopped trading and someone in Hudderfield bought all the Kamper roof spares, does anyone know this contact? I've hit a brick wall with all leads so far...

thanks for your messages. I've spoke to Autovan in Bournemouth and they do replacement roofs, the problem is I'm in Manchester and would suit if i could find somebody in the North. The roof has already been patched but to be honest it really has seen better days, also the locking system is a bit iffy so a decent restore or replace is required. It's a long shot but if anybody knows somebody northern based that would be ideal, otherwise i'll have to bite the bullet, and the double cost of getting there and back, twice, to Bournemouth. like i said its a long shot but you never know. thanks again for all the advice so far. David.

have a look on yellow pages for horse box builders. may sound like an entirely random idea but these folk have all the right bit and pieces to rebuild your roof and probably at quite a reasonable price. i can give you details of some one over here if you like but not really near you.

mine is patched but will need replacing properly im the future i think - why not source a simpler, stronger, less vulnerable type of pop top and stick that on? think that's the route i'm heading down...
