hi top treatment?

does anybody know of a product that you can apply to fibreglass to re-proof it?
as far as i know, grp is good for about 15 years but can break down in uv and become porous. i need to do something about it as mine could be twice this age and it gets pretty damp inside when its wet.
so, a treatment pre paint? or treatment in paint?
never had to do this before but im sure somebody has.

Ok i think some one is taking the we-we here.----------
Lets get it right chaps ( Rustoleum ) is basicly a Metal Rust Treatment paint, it can be used on wood but it must be of an Acrylic Mix a sealer coat only. Now we have got that out of the way.
Fibreglass breaks down over a period of time, ie!! its not grp matting that breaks down, It is the outer skin coating known as Gelcoat, uv/acid rain/salt air/ dust/grime/vibration/knocks & bangs etc. all adds up to the grp breaking down. One of the main features of ware is commonly known as Osmossis Fine cracking of the Gelcoat, If a GRP layup has been done correctly there is no way it can become porus to water impregnation, otherwise there would be a hell of alot of GRP boats on the bottom of the brinney -----------
If the gelcoat has become dull with age it can be buff polished, But if cracking is present then there is 3 cures, (1) Fill cracks with a polyester filler,sand and prep allover and re-paint with a 2pk paint (Spray) (2) there is a special 2k paint from International Marine paint Manufac, can be applied by brush or spray. (3) Re-apply a new coat of Gelcoat (this is a special mix known as Flowcoat).
Item 1 is the easyest sollution, 2 & 3 Need special Skills in application to aquire a reasonably good finnish.

I think the original problem is what has been said in a previous post, different air tempratures results in condensation forming on the Fibre Matting on the interior of the roof, The cure is stick some fabric on the iside of the roof.----------------

Like Grumps and T'Onion says Rick .... Make sure it's not condensation (they acquire laods of water if they're not insulated or at least carpeted out) or a skylight leaking ?

If all really is lost get a supply only T/Tech lid and your mates will come and breathe sharply though our teeth at you sticking it on

so, if its not porous i'll have to have a closer look at it. i should start with old holes where aerials have been etc. i doubt its the rooflight as it was new last year but i'll check anyway. its already carpet lined.

ive been tempted to put a t/t top on it. but stop myself because my old ac engine has enough on as it is
