Oh Dear!!!!!

Post by Dylan88 »

A bit of advice is needed I think!!!!

Thought we had aired the pop top after the last time we used the camper but obviously not enough
Lifted the pop top the other day to discover quite alot of mould!!!! Although the inside has cleaned up okay the out side is very bad, tried plenty of elbow grease and hot water but got no where, and suggestions of what we can use to get it cleaned up?

Detol mould and mildew remover is good stuff, comes in a green spray bottle. My local Sainsburys stock it. Just stray on and scrub off, keep well ventilated though :ok
Oh and welcome
Mmm what's that strange smell from my exhaust...

also be careful when using that dettol stuff not to get too much on the canvas. It contains bleach which damages the fabric.

Sorry for the really delayed reply, Its just called Auto Glym Fabric Hood Cleaner, you get two bottles, one to clean the roof and the other to waterproof and seal, I'd reccommend it as its done a great job on my roof :ok
