subaru engine swap

Can I fit a subaru 1.6 into my T25.(1.6 Aircooled) Where can I get conversion adaptor for the engine to gearbox, or do I need one.

Hi. There must be plenty of posts on this already but a good start would be http://www.rjes.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. I believe there is a list of compatible engines for use with this bellhousing.

I wouldn't bother even if it will go in. Any how i believe it is 1.8 and up that go in.

also with an Aircooled van you have to put in all the water works, not hard just a bit of a pain getting everything you need
