Shiny, new Marsalla Red IS nice, I must say ...

Any particular reason why you're not painting the roof? High roof already waiting for it?

Didn't paint the roof cuz it only needs a machine polish, the paint is fine and there are no dents.

I went for Marsala Red cuz that's what the colour originally was!!

The new windscreen wont fit, the rear washer pipe has stuck in the rear door and the genuine VW rear bumper has the bolt holes in the wrong place....     ................. but apart from that its going well.

At least you didnt have to wait 6 weeks for the paint to harden like I did with my 60 quid rustoleum paintjob,

it is looking great imho, new paint is such a joy. :D

... and Bug*er again. Fitted a new LLE dash last week which took ages to do and get everything working again and yesterday I was fitting the wiper arms and managed to shear off a wiper spindle. Now the dash has to come out again to replace the spindle and its raining :( :( :( :( :(

At least we are nearly there ...... :D

Looking good mate, Nothing worth while is ever easy. (As I'm finding with my own re-build!)
