Seatbelt Laws

Hi Folks,

We have just bought our first VW Campervan and were wondering what the current laws are for carrying passengers in the back without seatbelts?
Also we are making our first trip out May bank holiday, any suggestions of where to break ourselves in? MMM that sounds weird xx

if it has no seatbelts you dont need them.but if you are carrying children i suggest you get some fitted...

As for where to go on May Bank Holiday, I'd set off now to avoid the traffic
(And speaking as an ex resident - avoid Whitby & all of the North Yorkshire coast, it's unbearable at Bank Holidays....)

Wherever you go, enjoy it. That first trip will be great fun; have a look at all the exciting kit others have got too, you'll soon start finding things you "need" to complete the camping experience. Have a good read up on here, there's stuff that won't seem relevant or make much sense now but it might just come back to you if you need it. Ask away if there's anything you can't find and there will be someone along to help shortly.
