I've got one about 4 miles away. My T4 neighbour put me onto them last week.
Happy to 80-90 Express stuff too if anyone needs anything.

Re: GSF Parts
I have to admit that I treat GSF Car Parts with caution. They're good for service and electrical parts, but for things such as seals, wheel bearings etc. I would not touch them with a barge pole !!!! The seals are simply rubbish !!!
Nowerdays I only get genuine seals from the VW Classic Parts Center.

And I am not 100% certain that I get my club80-90 discount (I use mail order rather than collect from store, so maybe the discount doesn't apply for mail order)

I was in GSF at Swinton (North Manchester branch) last week & I asked for the usual 10% Club 80-90 discount. I was told that they normally put the transaction through as 'trade' so we actually get a 20% discount.

Re: GSF Parts
1) how do we go about getting a GSF discount?
2) does brickwerks only sell second hand parts? or do they also get in "common" requirement parts. I do want to consider changing my temp sensor for one from brickwerks in case the GSF ones do show too hot all the time.

Re: GSF Parts
clartsonly, remember the email that Mocki sent you confirming your club membership & stating your membership number? Print that off & use it as proof that you are indeed an 80-90er.
Young Mr.B at Brickwerks sells a range of new parts. He aims to always sell quality parts even if they may cost a bit more.
GSF often have 2 versions of the same part available, one OEM quality part & one cheapo part made in China which doesnt last 5 minutes.

Re: GSF Parts
thanks I wonder if I can "back claim" all the previous purchases

I will check brickwerks for new parts I need, I think since the main man at my local GSF had a "motorcycle accident" the general VW knowledge seems to have slowly but surely disintergrated.

Re: GSF Parts
For oil seals etc I'd go to an engineering shop that sells bearings etc and get seals made by Rolf they are made in Germany and often much better than OEM
