coolant temp sender

Post by ojsmith »

hi

anyone know where i can get a genuine vw coolant level sender. mine is a cheapo replacement, and doesnt seem very water tight. indeed, coolant seems to be collecting in the dip in the plastic bottle around the senser, despite the circumfrence of the sender being water tight and taped up... the water must be coming through the senser itself... is this possible??!

cheers

olly

May be worth trying VW (commercial?) the same level switch may be used in other models, found a temperature sensor clip which fits the T3/T25 on a Skoda website the other day. Try a google for the part number(s)
