Blanking out a window

I want to blank out a window. It's the one at the O/S rear. Not that it matters which one really I suppose. Easiest way would be to do something to the outside. I want it to look decent. Any ideas anyone, please.

Why not simply put some black paint or some limo tint on the inside of the window. I had limo tint on one of my vans and it was great. You can see out but it is extremely difficult to see in, especially if the inside of the vehicle is dark. I only had 2 windows in the back and used the thermo mats when sleeping but you could get changed in privacy without having to install curtains.

Can't get to inside of winow too easily without removing a cupboard. Not sure about black paint on glass, wouldn't it peel off ?

You could use the permanent vinyl they use for making vehicle signs, available in lots of colours, if you give them an accurate template they will cut the shape for you.

Not sure how you would prep the glass but it must be possible. The other option if you can still get them is one of these panels from a company called EMC.

Bigherb and Slobbo. that's the sort of thing. Obvious really isn't it I also got a mail telling me to use etch primer on the glass if painting. Thought that only worked on metal.
