Heater Cable - Screen defroster flap

Just removed all the dash etc to replace the which snapped a few months ago, got a new one from VW to replace it with.... now its all apart, the one I have is too short by about 20cms!

I got part 251 711 647A which I think is supposed to be for LHD defroster flap cable (which is what I need) it is what is labelled on the cable... Can anyone check this for me?

Anyone have a van they are breaking in South London area I can nick a cable from (tomorrow!! )

Yeah, exactly! Although it came with A on the end, and looks to be about 45cm

looks like you have no12.maybe you need the no 11 one without the A at the end.as it shows

Cheers Rob, went down the local TPS, VW no longer sell, went out last year. Ended up going down to Peet's near Gatwick, he had a breaker LHD with one on!
