coolant leak

Post by spooky »

one of the short metal coolant pipes that runs along side the cylinder head (passenger side) has a very slight weep from the joint where the small outlet comes off, question i have is - is it ok to use some clear silicon to plug it ? yes I know it will have to be replaced but can I wait until it gets to a leak ? and does this pipe have a name, I have looked in the manual and it doesnt seem to be pictured, ta,
