Re: How do you get front springs off!!!!!
Really you ought to use spring compressors-as mentioned they are quite powerfull when compressed, do you have a hire shop locally who may have some?
Re: How do you get front springs off!!!!!
so you have removed track rod end, top ball joint, anti roll bar link arm, brake caliper , completely removed shock absorber , undone tie rod front nut , then as stated use a large strong bar (preferably 8ft spike bar) to force the lower arm round and down.
the last pair i did didnt need compressors ,

Spring compressors are £22 plus postage from Frosts which is a hell of alot cheaper than new teeth.
Try the first issue of "keep your bus alive" from Camper and Bus magazine as it has a good guide to lowering a T25.

Re: How do you get front springs off!!!!!
I recently replaced my front springs and tried the lever method, but still they wouldnt come out so finally bought some spring compressors from "halfrauds" (about £20) and had to compress the springs about 2-3inches to get them out.
i thought the lowered ones would go in easy but i had to compress these as well

Re: How do you get front springs off!!!!!
Joined the flock and lowered mine today by 40mm and got to use my Frosts compressors. Its still a hell of alot of work, and even the old rear ones needed a squeeze to get them out. Glad I bought a set of monster pry bars too!
Only got 3 done though as I rounded the last of the two allen heads on one of the O/S front
Was too tired to start any major fussing so going to go back tomorrow evening with a suitable flat screwdriver and hammer it in!
