Rust on paint

Rust on paint

Anyone any idea what to use to get rid of rust stains on paintwork. I have used cutting compound with limited success. Wondered if there was a chemical.

Acetic acid or just plain Vinegar will do what you are askin......

PS, apparently when used in conjunction with brown paper it is good for knocks to the head..... :shock:

Agree on vinegar and maybe Brasso and see if you can polish out whats left. Cif might be a bit harsh.
