Rust on paint

Rust on paint
Anyone any idea what to use to get rid of rust stains on paintwork. I have used cutting compound with limited success. Wondered if there was a chemical.

Acetic acid or just plain Vinegar will do what you are askin......

PS, apparently when used in conjunction with brown paper it is good for knocks to the head.....

Agree on vinegar and maybe Brasso and see if you can polish out whats left. Cif might be a bit harsh.
