Just a feeling, but I think it's worth more together than apart.
Sorry to see that it's such a hard sell.

Where in Vermont are you I'd be interested in it for $1200. How much does it disassemble (if any). I'm about to take a trip camping (in my Westy) heading north (out of DC) and since nothing is planned, I could divert to Vermont with sufficient reason.

price is up to 1900$ I think I will ebay it. And let the best Mna win.

And now this:

I would like to apologize for the posting of my NATO cap. I have been inundated with people offering me less and more than 1200 $. It is too much of a task and too difficult to find the first/best legitimate person and pursue a sale with them as they may re-neg etc-sorry. Obviosly it is worth way more than 1200 bucks! And since I am a true american capitalist I have decided to sell it by other means that will make it more fair to all involved.
So anyone that has sent me an email with an offer, I will let you know when/if I ebay it. and may the best man (or woman) win!

Cheers

Hi,
This must be from the military doka which was on thesamba.com.
These caps are very popular in germany...seen them for really high prices on german ebay! They look cool but I guess they are also very heavy compared to the swedish canopy which is made in fiberglass.

An update :)

For all the people who were really interested not just passive aggressive- here you go.

ebay item 280004852966

Have fun

Chris

PS. Wouldn't have thought it would be that heavy, grp is not always the lightest option cf. a well designed steel or ally fabrication. GRP is just easier and cheaper to tool-up for, often not as stiff and often carry a lot of dead weight if not designed well. The std VW steel dropsides are a good example, very strong and stiff but surprisingly light.
