GAS BOTTLE UNDER VAN WESTY
I have recently bought a westfalia t25 and I know this is going to sound stupid but, there is a gas canister underneath the van, which I think is empty. Question is do I refill it and how or just change the whole canister and how?

You will need to buy an adapter, Steve at Gasure sells them, then you can fill up at any LPG staion.

Re: GAS BOTTLE UNDER VAN WESTY
This is a permanent fixed tank that supplies LPG to the cooker and fridge. You fill it using the LPG nozzle at stations with LPG facillity.
In order for the UK nozzle to fit the German connection, an adaptor is needed (Steve at Gasure sells em) OR ask at the LPG station as they often have them for customer use (our local BP station has several) Empty to full costs around £8.50 and will last for ages (some users say they only fill up once a season) only fills to 80% then cuts out (this is normal) Sometimes the gauge on the tank stops working and this requires a strip to repair the float mechanism (the float leaks internally and fills with LPG) Note* tank also has a BBQ take off point (requires the purchase of an adapter)
Hope this helps

Re: GAS BOTTLE UNDER VAN WESTY
Just got one of them bbq adaptors today works like a dream.
Filling tank with gas can be a strange experience at first, take your time and you will be fine. Would also suggest you dont fill it to 80% at first. in case there is a problem. (unlikely but possible) .If you get the adaptors off Steve the can tell you all you need to know.
Buckley is just down the road....
