so, the camper is in the garage with an undiagnosed and as yet unfixed electrical issue sending the temp gauge all over the place, and camping plans have had to be put on hold again. i was a bit glum obviously, which my eternally perceptive other half picked up on and decided to cheer me up with a cake:
