#72 relay, goes in one of the spots, it's for rear wash wipe

I've just done mine this morning, an early bus, so i've used the diagram in wiki
that work also
thanks to Horace83
Your welcome (Horace83 was my former name)

and pepperami I was being pedantic
I've just come indoors from pulling it all appart again, this time I put the relay into the relay/fuse board
the connector blocks I'd used initially were too big for the cowl to fit around the steering column again, so I figured I might aswell do the job propperly, so it's now almost as VW would have done it
all the joints have been soldered, and insulated with heat shrink, a shame I didn't have VW colour coded wires to do the job with, although I doubt anyone will ever get under my dash to see it anyway

but thanks again
for posting the drawings into wiki

for those who dont know how the variable wipe works with a 99 relay....

turn wipers on.then turn off.
count the number of seconds delay you want.then turn on again.

That be brilliant info! I wonder how many pepes have done the mod and failed at the last (actually getting it going) hurdle!
