Fixing High Top Roofs

Post by pocolow »

I will be fitting my high top roof to my Bus in the next couple of weeks and as this is a rather daunting task I wondered if any one has any experience of doing this.? I plan to cut the roof with an angle grinder with a metal cutting disc (only in the sliding door section). How ever as these roofs are only bonded on with adhesive, which one should i use and where do I get it from? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. :?: :?:

can i ask a question about it too quag's.ive been up there today and cleaned what must be 10 tubes of mastik out the gutter...now my question is did you run the mastik into your gutters or did you just smooth it off with the side of the roof?..im wondering now if the mastik i took out was holding the roof on !!!
