cheap 16" syncro arches

Post by ..lee.. »

ok, bit of a hopes up subject sorry but i read something the other day on samba about fake fiberglass replica arch kits.
does anyone on here know a good glassman that could knock up a set of moulds, i would imagine i`m not the only one that would like a set and i`m suprised it hasn`t been brought up before.

i know fiberglass is pretty naf compared to the proper stuff but at the right price i`d deffo be interested.

what do ya think guys.

You will need to find someone who will be willing to remove and hand over their arches to take molds from first. There have been a lot of people in the past saying that they where going to do this but non have so far.

Lee,
a while back I had a conversation with this company - http://www.threetwentyfive.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - they have a background in fibreglass boats and they already do some VW bits. They showed some interest but I didn't have any arches to offer as moulds. It might be worth you talking to them?

cheers.
there`s a topic on brickyard atm and numbers are being counted for proper rubber style moulded repo arches so if there`s enough interest then we may be able to get them reproduced.
