Hello,
I've changed my fridge and the gas exhaust vent if now on the wrong side.
As you look from the front of the fridge my vent hole in the side of the van is on the left, but the exhaust exits the fridge (waeco type) from the right side.
Is there a "cross pipe" you can get to join the two or am I going to have to cut up my nicely repaired/painted bodywork again and change the vent?
Any ideas,
Thanks.
Mike.

Re: Another Fridge Question..
Hi Mike
For any gas appliance to work safely and efficiently it must be installed according to the manufacturers instructions.
Autosleeper used to extend their fridge flue pipes using a flexible aluminium tube (similar to propex piping).
A long flue can cool the exhaust gas causing condensation to run back into the burner, causing corrosion . Autosleeper "lagged" them to reduce this I think.
The flue pipe must run uphill all the way from the fridge to its vent on the outside of the van.
To be safe I suggest you contact Waeco and ask their advice.
