hi everyone
just had the news from the garage that my 2 litre Aircooled auto T25 1982 needs 2 new heads, anybody know roughly how much this is going to cost me? also any help or advice as to where i can purchase heads for this model T25, would it be advisable to buy a another engine and use those????.

Loads of places do replacement heads - try Just Kampers and VW Heritage for starters...

Alan, are you sure the garage is correct ?
These heads can develop small cracks between the valve seats that even VW say can be ignored, provided they are smaller than xx millimetres (cannot remember the exact)
If it DOES need new heads, recon ones for the a/c engine are not that expensive so buying a used motor as a donor would be risking your cash !
