My temp gauge has stopped working. On the way to dubfreeze it's read as nothing then go upto half way the back down again, this carried on for most of the drive up then it went down and has stayed down ever since. Anyone got any ideas what I can check to find out what's wrong?

Bad conx somewhere most likely cause. Two Coolant temperature senders in Thermostat housing, the cab facing sensor is for the gauge. The connections and locations are somewhere in this thread......

Visually check the connx on the coolant temp sender and earth points first. The diagram shows the colour codes and the location of the various connections. The T7 junction box is a black box on the left of the engine bay on the vertical panel left of the carb so to speak! If you know how to use a multimeter you can establish the problem from there. Alternatively, short he orange/yellow lead to a good earth and see if the gauge needle rises but don't do it for too long. Could also be a poor conx on the multi pin at the rear of the speedo pod.
