fan switch on a JX/AAZ engine

Anyone know which one of the coolant sensors controls the main rad fan?? mine not cutting in and not sure what sensor to test...

is it on the rad itself...

bottom grille off, standing looking at the van it should be a little from the bottom on the RHS. They do fail. buy a gen VW one, not JK or GSF
