Removing the Glovebox?

How do you remove the glovebox? if I bend the two retaining hooks they feels like they're going to snap

Bend the hooks? the last time I bent/pulled/twisted something on the old bus I ended up with no heater control levers

Kev-you seem to have a repair solution for everything do you have a repair kit for my current cashflow problem?

Going to keep an eye on your piccys then as mine were broken when I got the van. I'm ok with it, just hold it open a bit, but it has been opened and all the contents deposited on the footwell by people who were unaware of my little 'booby trap'!
