leaking oil from filler tube

Looks like im leaking oil from my oil filler tube on my 2ltr Aircooled. Think its where the plastic tube connects onto the angled metal tube (disappears beneath the tinwear).

How easy is it to replace this?

How does the two parts connect together (is there some type of seal)?

can it be done without removing tinwear.

I had a leak on my '85 Caravelle. Turned out it was from the bottom of the filler tube just before the flange where it bolts on to the engine.. The metal had rusted through just on the bend and it was perforated. Easy to do if it's that.
