Where's a good place to buy headlining from? I don't know whether to go for the original vw perforated type or something different what have other van owners gone for?

I'd suggest http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/ or http://www.newtoncomm.co.uk/. The latter will probably be more expensive.
My bus has been trimmed out (by a previous owner) with a white padded vinyl which is quite nice.
