I have a 1985 RHD Transporter with 1600 TD manual 4 speed gearbox which needs replacing. I have been offerred a recon. 1900 petrol box. Will this work? If so what other can be used?

you need to find out what code your box has and the code of the new one.

does the recon come with receipts / warrenty or is it just painted pretty?
