More syncros for sale than you can shake a stick at

Post by syncro up »

Is it just me or does there seem to have been a flood of syncros for sale recently.
Normally theres maybe one on this forum, but since christmas there seems to be loads. and loads of dokas aswell as a tristar (if a rust bucket).
Is this the credit crunch biting or a spring clear out?

Still looking for my illusive tidy single cab though, must be out there somewhere...

Or people think if they sell now they will get a better price than later in the year when "the credit crunch takes hold"

I just sold mine but it was because I have been unemployed for the last 4 months (not necessarily because of the recession) and needed the dosh to pay the mortgage. Once I'm employed again I'll be buying a new one. Also got a Bay to sell that I have been restoring over the last 3 years. It's almost complete and up for sale just now. I had built the Bay to keep but in the intervening time discovered Syncros so now the Bay must go.
Cheers
Rob.

I am looking to buy one, I am struggling to sell my bay window for the proper money. I am not going to give it away as you say people are asking lots of money for a Syncro. I am not prepared to pay that much. I would rather just use my bay. After all it is rather nice :D

There are tons on the Samba also, I keep seeing alot of them repeating some for months now. It's definitely a buyers market.

Sorry to see you have resorted to Evilbay with your Doka.

I was looking at the advert on VZi & ebay. It looks a good van.

I was trying to get the Mrs to buy it to use for work. She said she would drive it too.

Cheers Pete. Don't want to sell but have been told, upon high, that I don't really need 5.5 vans! :run She may have a point!

Anyhow we'll see what happens. Least we'll get a good idea of the market. Or the crunching credit crash! 8)

I know what you mean. I have a Bay on the bay for £14000 and I have 397 hits and 11 watchers. Not a cheap van but still plenty of lookers. Hopefully got a buyer now as well. Be able to get another Syncro.
Cheers
