Re: Short & Simple MOT Question
Hi Stu
Short & simple answer :-
Not if there is no bits of lens missing or showing any white light to the rear.
If its a front fog it doesnt come into the MOT unless it has a dangerous or sharp projection

Re: Short & Simple MOT Question
i think you will find the sharpe edge rule ONLY applies to body work!
quote,
Body condition
This part of the examination applies to all vehicles.
4. Examine the body work for excessive corrosion or damage resulting in sharp edges which are likely to cause injury, 4. A sharp edge or projection, caused by corrosion or damage, which renders the vehicle dangerous to other road users, including pedestrians
one of those stupid no common sense mot rules!
first thing they tell you when you go on the testers course - common sense goes out the window
if its not body work its not a fail. ie i can glue razors ot my bonnet/bumpers and it will pass!
